"This is the first painting I created during my stay in Morocco. It was also my first trip where I brought oil paints and an easel on a plane with me. I painted this piece at sunrise in Tamraght."

Painting en plein air is something more to me than simply creating — it is a personal experience, a moment in which I can fully immerse myself in nature; a unique kind of encounter. This is the form of painting in which I feel most at home, and the one I consider the truest and most aligned with myself. Paintings are sold unframed.
