"I feel a kind of bond with this town, Pszczyna. Perhaps it is a nostalgic childhood memory — I remember how much I enjoyed visiting old palaces, places with history and spirit. I painted this work early in the morning, when the sun bathed the town in its first warm rays."

Painting en plein air is something more to me than simply creating — it is a personal experience, a moment in which I can fully immerse myself in nature; a unique kind of encounter. This is the form of painting in which I feel most at home, and the one I consider the truest and most aligned with myself. Paintings are sold unframed.
