"For me, it is a rare exception to paint without being outdoors. Weather conditions sometimes do not allow me to go out into nature. I painted this work captivated by the beauty of flowers — in this case, carnations."

Painting en plein air is something more to me than simply creating — it is a personal experience, a moment in which I can fully immerse myself in nature; a unique kind of encounter. This is the form of painting in which I feel most at home, and the one I consider the truest and most aligned with myself. Paintings are sold unframed.
