I couldn’t find that special composition. And then suddenly a duck landed on the surface of the pond, almost as if it wanted to stop me and point out the place I had been searching for. Acting on impulse, I painted this artwork in the final moments before sunset. Inspired by the paintings of Claude Monet, I created a series of three works featuring water lilies as the main subject.
